Last month in London, Chesapeake Technology unveiled SonarWiz Fathom, our cloud-native sonar data processing platform, to the global marine survey community. The response exceeded our expectations.
We also announced our partnership with north.io, integrating Fathom with their Ocean Data Platform to create a seamless, end-to-end pipeline — from data acquisition to processing to centralized management. No more manual handoffs. No more friction. Just high-quality survey results, faster.
Through north.io’s API, joint customers can transfer marine survey data from the Ocean Data Platform into Fathom for advanced processing and analysis, then export processed results back for centralized data management, visualization, and collaboration. The workflow connects cloud-based data management with expert-level sonar data processing, supporting a streamlined data lifecycle from storage and access to analysis and reuse.
